A pyramid you can actually climb
44 countries and ~1,430 real clubs, with the pyramids a promotion climb needs — England runs four tiers deep, Spain and Italy the same — plus the divisions no other game bothers with: Serie C and D, Spain's Primera and Segunda Federación, and the six African leagues that give the continental cup someone to invite.
The clubs are real. The ~31,500 footballers are the game's own — generated from the club that fields them, so a squad is only ever as deep as its level really is: twenty-four men and three keepers in a top flight, twenty in a fourth tier. A club's standing is the mean rating of its best eleven, which is what keeps a League Two side a League Two side.
Players are named from their own country's pools, and in Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Argentina a man carries two surnames — his father's and his mother's — because that's what those countries actually give him.
Everything a real dugout has to decide
Four jobs, none of them cosmetic — each one changes what happens on the pitch, not just what a screen says about it.
A formation that means it
An attack is played through four real phases — build-up, progression, creation, transition — each contested by the men whose job it is. A hole in your midfield is a hole somewhere in particular.
- Mentality trades chances made against counters conceded
- Twelve roles, each a genuine trade — nothing makes a side better at everything
- Name your penalty taker, and your understudy takes over if he's not on the pitch
Minute by minute, on a real pitch
Watch it unfold on a 2D pitch with live commentary — both sides moving as the game does, pressing lines rising and falling with mentality.
- Team talks before kick-off, at the break and full time — five tones, one temperament each
- Pause mid-match for tactics and up to five substitutions
- Penalties and offsides refereed properly, including who steps up
Scout 150+ nations. Sign inside the window.
A summer window, a four-week January one, and a deadline day at the end of each. Outside them, nobody moves — except a free agent, and your scouts never stop working.
- Loan young players out for minutes, or in for the season, no fee
- A signing costs his fee and his wage — two budgets, both real
- Wonderkids exist, and your chief scout is who finds them first
A career, not just a season
Fitness works like a footballer's — a cup week leaves him short for Saturday. Injuries are named, not abstract: a hamstring strain, a knock, a ruptured cruciate.
- A player's mood is a fact about him — leave him out too long, he asks to leave
- Your best get called up for country, which national teams actually want
- Continental nights, domestic cups, awards — the whole season, not one competition
No shortcuts, no fine print
The kind of detail you only notice when it's missing.
Findings, 25 screens
Every control is a real control — named, reachable by keyboard, with nothing a mouse can do that a screen reader can't hear.
And it still plays
Every screen is built for a phone as well as a wide monitor — the sidebar becomes a drawer, tables scroll in their own card, nothing runs off the edge.
Languages, not an afterthought
English, Italiano, Español, Deutsch, Français, Português — opens in your browser's own language, in the vocabulary each of them actually uses.
